Tippy Toes (18 months - 3yrs)

  • Tippy Toes dance classes are for children 18 months up to the age of 3 years. Music, movement, balance and the basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner. This type of class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating in the class along with the little dancer. Our teachers will keep the music and curriculum moving along while parents take an active role in encouraging, supporting and keeping the little dancer on track.


Creative Movement (2-4yrs)

  • Creative Movement is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination and promote creativity. Creative movement uses body actions to: communicate an image (the wind), communicate an idea (a journey) or communicate a feeling (strength).


Tiny Dancers (2-4yrs)

  • Designed for our students ages 2 – 5 years old, these classes offer development in coordination, musical awareness, and listening skills while helping students implement their natural creativity in a stress free environment. Through this program, boys and girls gain a sense of joy and accomplishment. Classes includes ballet, tap, tumbling skills. Once primary steps are learned basic combinations of skills will be added.


Beginner Combo (4-6yrs)

  • Designed for our students ages 4-6 years old, these classes offer development in coordination, musical awareness, and listening skills while helping students implement their natural creativity in a stress free environment. Through this program, boys and girls gain a sense of joy and accomplishment. Classes includes ballet, tap, tumbling skills. Once primary steps are learned basic combinations of skills will be added.


Jazz/Tap 1 

  • Beginner jazz skills taught are of age appropriate material and prepare the dancer in the development of more complex steps. The Jazz portion of the class will focus on pirouettes, chainés, footwork combinations, and an introduction to basic leaps, small jumps and floor work. Tap portion of the class will work on movements and combining steps into short combinations and routines. By using songs and dance movements, performance skills are developed. In addition, the students will work on simple rhythms, formations and occasionally use some props. 


Jazz/Tap 2

  • Intermediate jazz skills taught are of age appropriate material and prepare the dancer in the development of more complex steps. The Jazz portion of the class will focus on pirouettes, chainés, footwork combinations, and an introduction to basic leaps, small jumps and floor work. Tap portion of the class will work on movements and combining steps into short combinations and routines. By using songs and dance movements, performance skills are developed. In addition, the students will work on simple rhythms, formations and occasionally use some props. 


Jazz/Tap 3

  • Advanced Jazz skills taught are of age appropriate material and prepare the dancer in the development of more complex steps. The Jazz portion of the class will focus on pirouettes, chainés, footwork combinations, and some intermediate/advanced leaps, jumps and floor work. Tap portion of the class will work on movement and combining steps into short combinations and routines. By using songs and dance movements, performance skills are developed. In addition, the students will work on intermediate rhythms, formations and increased timing/speed. 


Boys Only

  • Our "boys only" classes are specifically geared toward creating an environment where boys feel comfortable and excited to experience the fun of dance!  Class includes hip hop and contemporary technique, improvisation, plus a focus on coordination, rhythm and musicality.  NEW students are welcome to attend one class for free. This class is taught by a talented male instructors and will allow boys to make friends in dance class and learn from a positive male role model


Ballet 1 (5-7yrs)

  • Ballet 1 is  designed around a structured classical ballet class. Students use the ballet barre to learn technique and vocabulary, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Center floor work will consist of basic jumps, combinations, and traveling steps across the floor. 


Ballet 2 

  • Dancers will begin class with stretches in the center and at the barre specific to strengthening the feet.  At the ballet barre they will work on basic technique, as well as, learn more detailed combinations, involving port de bras (use of upper body, head, and arms).  Dancers will be encouraged to count the music and name the steps.  They will begin learning about turnout and correct body placement.  They will expand their repertoire of jumps in simple form.  Center work will consist of combining three or more steps and dancers will work to improve their turns through spotting and proper use of the arms.  Corner work will combine two or more steps which travel across the floor.  They will learn the names of important muscles used in ballet.


Ballet 3

  •  Ballet 3 will emphasizing performance quality and proper execution of longer, more difficult combinations. Students will further develop strength and stability in various turns, while performing exercises in the center. Students will also work on the smooth connection of movements of the arms and the body working towards a professional performance level of coordination. This is an advanced level class.

Pointe (Ballet 3 required concurrently)

  • Pointe is a very serious step in ballet training. Students are expected to be very dedicated and disciplined. Pointe class focuses on a foot strength-building program designed for pointe readiness. Students will learn and practice pointe barre work with emphasis on individual's correct foot and body alignment as well as study of the proper techniques for the execution of more difficult steps. LADA guarantee a slow, thorough, and careful approach to assure a safe and solid foundation that will help students to be in control and at ease when dancing on pointe.


Lyrical

  • Lyrical dance is a style of dance created by  merging ballet, jazz and contemporary dance techniques. Lyrical dancing is performed to music with lyrics to inspire movements to express strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics in the chosen song. Because lyrical dancing focuses on the expression of strong emotion, the style concentrates more on individual approach and expressiveness than the precision of the dancer's movements.


Contemporary 1 & 2

  • Contemporary combines ballet and modern techniques with musical and emotional expression with a strong focus on modern techniques (contractions and release, off-center balances and suspension) as well as musicality and self-expression. Students will work on ability to pick up stylized choreography and movements.  Uses more intricate movement and incorporates more technical skills to achieve the choreography. This class is designed to challenge dancers. 


Hip Hop 1 & 2

  • Hip Hop teaches new and popular dance moves requiring a definitive sense of rhythm and beat, as well as a strong performance presence within the movement.


Street Jazz (teens and adults ONLY)

  • Street Jazz is a fusion of commercial jazz, hip hop and street style of dance.


Acrobatic Dance

  • Acrobatic dance is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which seamlessly blends dance and acrobatics, and its use of acrobatics in a dance context.


Stretch Leaps & Turns

  • Dancers will work on flexibility and correct placement for grand battements (kicks), leg holds, and tilts. From the most basic of turns (chaine, pique, pirouette) through the advanced turns (attitude, arabesque, coupé, fouetté, à la seconde, multiple pirouettes) and variations of all of the above. Class is designed to be progresses from basic leaps and jumps (tuck, pike, toe-touch, c-jump, jeté, and second leaps), to advanced leaps and jumps, such as cabriole, switch leap, switch-second, calypso, turning c-jumps, tilt jumps, reverse leaps, and turning disc leaps. The student's goal is to execute a series of complicated turn, leap, and grand battement (kick) patterns technically correct and safely.


Mom's Only

  • Adult Sassy Street Jazz is a fun beginner level class for anyone ages 18+ looking to get sassy!  This is a low-pressure class with a secret focus on cardio. You will be having so much fun, you won't even notice you are breaking a sweat.  No prior dance experience is required - just prior sass experience!
